Poppa's Story
Poppa lost his owner suddenly in November 2025, and is looking for his safe forever home. In spite of being sad and confused when he came to us, Poppa is a trusting and sweet boy who loves to show his belly for rubs, and curl up next to his foster parents for hugs and scratches. He loves seeing squirrels and birds through the window and on TV, and will chase wand toys when he gets excited.

​Poppa is around 6 years old and neutered and vaccinated. He is 26 pounds and currently on a diet to get him down to a more manageable weight but needs someone who will keep him active, and monitor his caloric intake initially.
Due to his size, he can have a hard time cleaning his bum, and benefits from trips to the groomer to help him keep clean back there while on his weight loss journey.
